As part of our vision, outreach is a massive part of the church life. We believe we have been commissioned by Jesus to make disciples and to go and preach and therefore our lives and churches should reflect that commission. Here at Ryde Elim we try and run various events throughout the year to share with people the good news of Jesus. Over the years we have been involved in various evangelistic events, including Ryde carnival, prayer tables and tents at shows (see photos below). Our main outreach project however, is called needs and seeds, this aims to help people in the community get back on there feet or simply to help people who are in difficulty, whether that be the giving a food hamper, some decorating or even gardening. We also hope to be hosting a number of courses including the Alpha course which is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith.
