This is a vibrant group, where there is an open arena for airing life issues. The main objective is to help the youth make sense of their fast paced confusing world. To bring God’s word into the modern dilemmas they face daily. Many youth believe the bible to be an out dated rule book. We aim to show them that the bible can empower them to make alternate life choices, thus giving them the power and ability to avoid the major pit falls of a modern teenage life. God has promised us all a wonderful future through Jesus Christ. This doesn’t mean we won’t go through troubles and heartaches, sadness and worries. We will make some bad choices but, in our darkest times we will have someone to turn to, someone who loves us unconditionally. |

The meetings have a very informal approach. The first half of the evening being a God focused time, the second half is for chatting, socialising, or one to one counselling. This usually revolves around a cup of hot chocolate, and biscuits! Plenty of music and a lot of laughter.
The meetings are held on a Tuesday evening. 7.30 To 9.30pm at Ryde Elim Church. The group is open to any 13 to 18 year olds. No need to know God, but why not come along and get to know him? We look forward to meeting you.
